I can confirm it IS a bug and not censorship.

I managed to discover a way to bypass the bug and remove the ugly underwear from V when going nude.

The trick is to quickly equip between 2 pairs of pants as quickly as possible, then unequip them.
Do it right and you end up with a completely naked V:

However even this method is highly bugged itself as it can cause your pants to end up invisible even though you have pants equipped which further reinforces that the underwear thing is actually a bug and not censorship.

Not a permanent nor recommended fix, but useful for those who wanna use Photomode for some nude shots.

Looks like Gameplayerr reported on a Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.05 which apparently has "Addressed texture related issues." in the patch notes and the last post says "According to a Facebook post they just put out in their cyberpunk page an hour ago, patch 1.05 should be released within 7 days from now" so I guess we wait and see what that means.

You are aware this says nothing about the topic. This game in general has texture problems especially when simply having to load them. Most of the people I walk toward can barely get their textures loaded in time. Texture-wise this game truly is a mess. Kinda laughable they released this near the holidays seeing as that is when most gamers are off work and now stuck with a broken game till most likely February of next year. It'll be curious to see if it actually fixes it or CDPR kowtowed to the crybabies again. But this still begs the question of why there are so few scantily clad people in the game.

Cyberpunk game with child grade nudity and even violence gives this game nothing more than the generic look. There are suppose degenerates everywhere it should basically look like California does cause that already gives the degenerate cyberpunk feeling.

I am thinking its a bug because from what I read, initially nudity was there outside of the inventory screen but now it seems to have gone away. And I'm wondering if this was due to a "quick fix" because of the genitals and breasts popping out of clothes issue. Hopefully in the coming updates it will be fixed properly. I think people are being a bit rash blaming this on them suddenly becoming "woke" when as has been pointed out by others, you can still see boobs and dicks at character creation and in your inventory screen. Assuming that this is deliberate censorship doesn't really seem logical to me.

Its also absurd to deduce that because they decided to add a joytoy for those attracted to men, it means they have censored nudity due to being "woke". Aren't we passed the point of complaining about things like that yet?

And for the record, I'm one of the ones that's attracted to dudes and was pleased with the male joytoy and I want plenty of nudity in my game, trust me on that one. I was disappointed when my male V woke up in his shower and had freaking shorts on. I always hated how in the Witcher games you got to see plenty of boobs but never Geralt's D. Don't blame LGBT people and normal non-sex hating straight women for this (that's what you're implying, I assume).

But again, I am inclined to believe that this is just a bug and will be patched out. If not, mods will come. Since the nude models are already there, most of the work is already done. Shouldn't be too incredibly had to mod the undies out of nude scenes.

Yes, more joytoy variety would be excellent. Now I heard there are actually at least two more joytoys in the game besides the ones in Japantown. High priced ones in some bar or lounge or something. I am pretty impressed with the sex scenes though. No "fade to black" in THIS game. lol

Speaking of prostitutes, that's just one more reason I'm inclined to believe that this is a glitch and not a "woke" thing. If pandering to the "wokes" of the world, it seems highly unlikely that they would leave the prostitute sex in the game if they are gonna purposely take out the nudity because of her ilk. Just doesn't make sense.
