Everything to romance Judy as male v is programmed and ready to go with full dialog and everything. All you have to do is edit one single line of code. Yet CDPR being the disgusting liars they are claim Judy was always supposed to be female romance only.

I'm so done with this stupid company.

You are a little late, haven't they explained since that all voices lines were recorded by both the male and female voice actor regardless if they were "male-only" or "female-only", to makes things easier for localization and avoid missing any of them. As a result you can probably find in the game files female line for Panam romance option or male lines for River.

I would've liked that, actually.
Judy was nice.... sad she just left.

Clearly they are lying. Nobody pays for dialog they never intend to use and then put it in the game in a playable state. They put it in the game and then later cut it out. I don't know how this is not obvious.

Lying about what ? that recording a couple of extra lines when you already have the voice actor, the whole studio, and the technical team available cost a lot less than risking missing some lines and having to record them afterwards ?

It's obvious that is makes perfect sense I would say.

I would disagree, infact I prefer to see stable characters, than to watch like from game to game River for example is change his sexual orientation. So I'm satisfied with fact story characters have there "own" minds on the subject
IMO, yeah their excuse that "all lines to make it easier for localization" is pure BS.

Wouldn't it have been simpler to point out that you can have a trans character who is considered female by all the NPCs, but has a male body and voice? Instead the PR team panicked and coughed out a lie, because the actual truth is that none of the relationships were intended to be gender exclusive & it was up to the player to decide who they want to have a relationship with.

But then someone in marketing made an executive decision at the last minute because they didn't like the idea that most everyone in Cyberpunk is a little bit bisexual, and it was probably the same ding bat who decided that all the sex scenes needed to be drug addled strobes of fully clothed dry humping.

The character is not bissexual, case closed. This game have much more serious issues that requires the devs attention.

Not these fucking relationships and sex scenes.
I'm glad Craig's not an option I'm waiting for a bit where you find he's hung himself in Afterlife.

So much cut content in one game. I love cyberpunk but CDPR mangment butcherd this game.

The player base of cyberpunk is dwindling fast. If they don't fix the game and relase the 2018 version with all promised core features(Romance and flings included, Also Full BDs).

We were promised a Dark adult RPG.

What we got is a linear short story.

Good Job CDPR for shooting yourself in the leg.
Yeah, to me it is real strange devs choice. Judy is more feminine and same time more smart then Panam, ofcourse imho. Panam just not ready for relationships, mentally it's a typical teenager with oversized ego.

Thanks for the link - I gave this a try (game in progress, already finished all the Judy missions to the Cloud takeover line) - worked fine. Judy called after a short time to meet her at a cabin. Nothing in the dialogue or animations to suggest it was female only so it works just fine as a male V romance. I now have access to her apartment in town (not that I need it - my V rarely sleeps, lol).

I'd agree that it'd be better to have characters written with their own specific personality (which would include being hetero/homo/bi) but given the lack of options (and Judy being the only one I actually liked) and considering how it was clearly written as non-gender-specific, I think they'd have been better to leave it available.

They would be idiots to try to take it out: Modders will have it back in within two weeks, so all it would accomplish is pissing off the community even more.

This is very interesting, it's an approach that would take longer to dub but way easier to troubleshoot, that's for sure.
