I'm at the part in the "I Fought The Law" subquest where you're supposed to enter the RQR.

Doesn't matter if I ride in River's car, get there before him or if he is waiting for me, the moment the 'Talk To River' part of the quest prompts up, I cannot leave the area in any direction or the game crashes. Can't Fast Travel away either as that also crashes the game. Talking to River sets up the next part of the quest, 'Enter The Warehouse' but it still crashes the game no matter what I do.

I had to go back to a save before reaching River and now I have to give the entire area a wide berth otherwise the game will flatline just because I got too close and it auto-progresses the quest to the 'Talk To River' stage.

I've tried verifying the install, I've tried saving and reloading. Nothin'.

Anyone got a solution that doesn't involve 'just go back several days to before you did the quest'? Since that seems to be the go-to bandaid for this broken mess of a game's quests.
