Zalenor: if you say it because of my profile i did not play it, my GF liked it so i let her play the game, the moment i knew i could get a refund i told her to stop playing, i have not even open the game

TT_TT_TT_TT: Your "girlfriend" played the game for 40 hours (at least bc that is the tracked duration - so you it might be even more) so ya the audacity for asking for a refund is just ....
you will get it anyway
But asking for a refund after more than 10 hours says a lot
Changing your profile to private now even makes the story worse now
belive whatever you want, i dont get what you mean about having more hours... she has not open GOG galaxy in days, my profile are allways private to anyone but my friends, you made me realize my mistake thats why i changed it
anyways im not here to argue with anyone, i just opened this post in the hopes that some moderator would read it and they change the form so those with the collectors edition can refund as well...
Diablo 3, a few weeks after launch had an update introducing "RMA" Real-money auction house. It was clear that they were going to try and make the game less about playing the game and having fun gearing up and more about having good items be extremely rare jackpot drops or botfests with Activision (and I say Activision because Blizzard is dead) cha-chinging each transaction.

This update required me to agree to a new EULA basically accepting the premise of the RMA, even to play the game's singleplayer. I declined the EULA and therefore couldn't play... but I had owned the game for 29 days and Blizzard had a 30 day return policy. I contacted them stating I didn't agree to the new EULA, was in my 29 day window and wanted a refund. I got a full refund of my digital copy of Diablo 3 from Blizzard after probably 50-60 hours and 29 days and I'm PROUD of it. I didn't pay for a subscription to Diablo 3, I bought it. They took the game in a different direction and barred my access, and I got my money back.

I've paid a good amount rebuying games from my Steam library (which I no longer buy from) on GOG -- Dishonored 1 & 2, Prey, and others - just to support the studios and show them that DRM free = $ in their wallet. I will NOT twiddle my thumbs and say "Oh well" when companies employ abusive tactics. If you think that's reprehensible you're irredeemable and I'd love to sell you some stuff you don't need!

Same boat with Steam, People think that they're getting a better deal on steam the day is coming soon where valve are going to bite the hands of all those users.

Zalenor: In the assistance form if you choose pc you only have the option to refund a digital code (and they ask you to contact either gog,,steam or epic) they do not have the option of a physical pc version so i can't refund the collectors' edition... WTF cdpr...

TT_TT_TT_TT: Refunding a game after playing it for 40 hours?!?! Can people get serious?
This is pure madness.
Either way it's pure madness because you played a "broken" game anyway for 40 hours straight.
Or it's madness as you return it despite liking it enough to play it for 40 hours which makes you a crook.
Seems to be a reoccurring theme among people demanding refunds. Play the game to death then act like the game was so bad that they need their money back. These people have some nerve.

no difference between you or your girlfriend playing it as far as I'm concerned. The game still saw 40 hours of use in your possession. If it was some unplayable broken mess, such a feat would be impossible. You have no decency. You are incompetent for buying something you didn't want, keeping it for so long and letting someone else play it for over a week. and now you want to abuse the system in place to help people who have actual problems getting the game to work. Get real.

I have over 300 hours clocked in TW3, so in this case 40 hours in CP77 would be merely thorough assessment.

Also, it's a matter of why you are returning the game. Not everyone returns because the game is "unplayable". I've returned the game because of false advertising of nudity. The advertisements constitute part of the contract which I've entered and the censored goods delivered are non-compliant with this contract.

I agree, refunds originally were there to protect peoples from broken games that were probably never going to be fixed, but it seems now the system is being abused for all sort of reasons, asking for a refund after 2 or even 5 hours is fine, regardless of the reason, but asking for a refund after 20, 40 or worse after finishing the game is IMHO incredibly dishonest, regardless of the reason.
