I have never been able to take, the Cyberpunk genre serioosly, from William Gibson's Neuromancer.
As our society has proven, humans, wear, hold, or ride on new tech.

We have never, removed working body parts, with machines, and we never will.
I preordered C2077, to support GOG, and own Phantom Liberty.
Never even played long enough to get to Silverhand.

I sort of had a similar issue with dishonered, where, after the Forced on me Beating heart thingimabob, I played the No outsider powers route the game was never made to allow, i wasn't alone, and the sequel made that a choice from the start for Emily at least. Not sure about Corvo, I never go "Masculine, if I have any choice.

So I thought, I'd take my V into DLC, good to go Cybrefree? nope, I get no choice, game dumps loads of cybercrap on me.

I want all that Cybercrap removed, and I don't care how I do that, Mods, Cheat Engine, hacking exe, are fine.
I can only suspend my Disbelief, if my V has no Cybercrap, and enemies are Androids (Like Blade Runner)
The eye = Game HUD, bit I can work around, like the Outsider heart, it's just "Game HUD", not a CyberPower.

One point that may explain why I'm so determined, to do this, is I have one good eye, and one "Baby Blue" Micro-eye, that stopped developing in the womb.

I know the issues I had with a "Cosmetic Contact Lens", (Like a glass eye, but goes over the actual Micro-eye.
The absolute ball ache that was, put me off replacing the dead eye for life..

Think on that, I won''t even replace my "non functional eye", with "Cybercrap", and my V agrees with me, no surprise, she is me right down to our dysfunctional micro-pee pee.

God damn, now that's one loaded fucking post.
Supporting GoG/CD Projeckt is cool and all but you didn't have to buy Cyberpunk if you don't like the genre. So far as I know you can pop out cyberware anytime you like at a ripperdoc. I think you have to center click it if you're on PC. Some cyberware like optics and arms may not come out for reasons of pseudo-realism.

From my limited testing, I could only seem to replace already installed Cyberjunk with another one, but given that the only ones I ever tried to remove are exactly those forced installs ones that you say can't be removed, that's likely why nothing worked for me.

I could find nothing online about completely removing one from any slot, just adding, and replacing them.
It's why I asked this question in the first place. Usually I can find the right info, and mod my games by RTFM.

I knew the "Save Editor – Project CyberCAT-SimpleGUI by DeweySalt=718" mod could do it, but that was only updated some time after I made this post

As for Purchasing.
I know I didn't have to buy it, I made that same choice with Witcher 3 (Love that Genre), these are the only two games I have ever Pre-ordered in my life, and in both cases it was more to Support GOG, than CDPR.

My attitude has always been, if you buy an unfinished product, you lose the right to complain about it "Not Meeting Your Expectations".
I can't even say that though, sadly it did meet my expectations, I hoped it might surpass them.

I'm NOT complaining about the fact I purchased the game, after all I still bought Phantom Liberty before release as well (but After reviews dropped), while knowing the issues I have always with the genre.

I've always had the attitude, that good games, can surpass the genre. For example, I don't like Star wars franchise.
KOTOR is a great RPG game DESPITE being a Star Wars game, not because it's a Star Wars game.

I want to play this game, as stealth sniper without any Cyberjunk, I hated Dishonored with outsider powers it was so easy, & boring.
I really enjoyed that no powers run though, it made the game harder, but more fun
That's unusual for me, as typically I go easier for my type of fum.

Just got to finish BG3 first, so that's a year or two away, at the pace I play RPGs. Slow, & very, very long.

Wtf did I just read...?

Simple: If you don't like the Cyberpunk genre, don't play games of the Cyberpunk genre. You will meet a ton of characters with cyberimplants, and beware, you will dive into computers from time to time. This does not seem to be the game for you.
mistake, sorry no deletion possible?
