As in the title. Can someone explain to me how do the arms help open doors?
I mean locked doors are locked as they were before I got the gorilla arms. The body requirement doors also did not change what so ever for me. So what is this description about?
I might just be stupid and not understand how this works so please let me know.

If possible as spoiler free as you can.
Hi

The thing is that you can't open a locked door with the arms. The description saying it, but this feature is not in the game.....
You can open if you have the body or the tech point.

The arms are good just fort the melee combat and that's all sadly

fun fact: with the monowire you cant hack peoples too it is in the trailer but they are cut it out with the other 100 things too......

effectively making monowires useless af
Thats insane. I understand just not doing it in final release but to leave the describtion for us players and not implement it seems really fucking bad.
Im going to finish nomad playthru and thats it, ill start corpo and street kid when they fix all those things.
You can open a locked door using your arms. I have recently did it without gorilla arms.

A number of doors can be brute forced open if you have high enough body, but gorilla arms should make this possible on at least all doors with body stat checks regardless of body attribute and probably should work on technical skill doors too.

Obviously a lot of doors are just plainly impossible to open and obviously gorilla arms can't do anything there, but if a door can be teched or forced open then the text on gorilla arms suggest that they can get it done. I must admit to not having tested yet if this is actually true, though.

Edit: I've now tested and my conclusion is that gorilla arms are effectively just fancy boxing gloves. They do absolutely nothing outside of unarmed fist-fighting.

Have you ever tried it?

From the description it's a one-shot first-attack weapon.
From the damage, I believe it!

If it works as advertised, it's very useful.

Didn't work for me either. There was a door with 10 body requirement, I've got 7. Arms didn't help me
