Hello.

I'm near the the end of Act Two of Cyberpunk 2077. Apparently, I have just one more main mission to complete before I can start the Phantom Liberty-specific storyline in Dogtown.

There are also still several side quests and gigs already in my journal that I want to start and finish before the end of the overall game. My question is: Once I enter Dogtown and start the new Phantom Liberty missions, will I still be able to complete these already-existing side quests? Will they remain available and in my journal where I can tackle them at any time later at my convenience?

(I had assumed the existing side quests would still be available, but just want to make sure.)

I'm not sure if this answers your question, but some examples from my own playthrough:

- Beat on The Brat. I had not yet done the final match, despite it being available, when I updated the main game (coming from 1.6), installed Phantom Liberty and continued on my current playthrough. After having completed about half of the Phantom Liberty main missions and gigs, I left Dogtown and did the final Beat on The Brat mission. No issues.

- The Hunt (River's questline). I was at this point in the game in patch 1.6, and after having updated to 2.0 and spent a lot of time in Dogtown, this mission was still available, and I finished River's quests a couple days ago. No issues.

EDIT:
Yes, you'll be able to leave Dogtown some time after (breaking and) entering.

You'll be locked into Dogtown for a short while, but can leave later and tie up any loose ends.

Yes, that answers my question, PaladinNO. Thanks for that.

Thanks for the info, J Lo.

I’ll embark on the Dogtown journey sooner rather than later knowing my existing side jobs will remain intact.
