So, it appears this game has been in early development, along with several others, for well over a year now. The complaints on all the actually finished games, even ones with good reviews, all say the same things... Feels unfinished, not enough instructions, not intuitive...
This developer has 18 games, several "early access", several finished but "feels like a demo", and one listed as "SOON"...

I noticed big "sales" on half of them, which makes me wonder...
Is this game anywhere near completion? Have these games been abandoned? If I purchase any of these games, am I going to be left with a steaming pile of abandonware?

This particular game interests me, I would LIKE to purchase it, BUT, from reviews, and owning two of their games, only one of which was somewhat enjoyable, I have a feeling that this company is a shell...a dumping ground for a few great ideas which rarely make it past the demo phase... either that, or they have far too many "irons in the fire" and stretch themselves too thin and rather than making sure they are fully fleshed out, developed, and completed, they start up a new project, leaving the buyers as investors in a company with no returns on their investments.

When is this game going to be completed, and will any of the issues addressed by early access buyers be fixed??

There hasn't been any updates or progress on this game for almost a year now, so my personal recommendation on all games from this developer clearly is: Don't buy them!

I'd expect a small studio to take two years or so to finish a single game, but as of May 2025, they have 17 games on sale on GOG and 6 of them in early access. There's no way of getting all of those to a playable state within the foreseeable future.

Whale Rock Games company is known to release fake 'prototype' and unfinished 'games' and 'games' in EA for ages without any updates.
Dont fall for it guys, they have tons of reviews literally lying about content not in their games over on steam.
I have tested and played many trying to expose them as as with the Hede publisher, these 2 have no lpace on this platform not steam, and should be reported to authorities for scamming custumors.
They put them on discount all the time so they get at least a little bit in.
