Hello all,

I have a bit of a problem. I was under the impression that the game was saving automatically, as everytime I would die, it would give me the screen to let me choose where to start from. So I quit the game and restarted it, put in my correct username, but it started me all the way back to the beginning of the game. I would go to the option screen and hit load but that would just bring me to the very first level after the big intro cutscene. Am I doing something wrong?

Check your game directory for a file labeled <your password>.LOG. Open it with notepad and check if it's not empty (there should be a series of odd symbols). Also, check if there aren't other LOG files that may have data in them. I had a similar problem for some reason, I think all I did was rename one of the files or copy-paste the data inside from one file to the other and delete the duplicate (back up your files before you try this).

Honestly, I am lost now. I went to the game folder but didn't find any kind of "LOG" files. But then again, I don't even know what you mean by your password. By that do you mean the user name I made when I started the game? I open that one up with Note Pad and all I see is what looks like an upside-down T. Other than that, I have no idea what to look for. I apologize if I misunderstood anything.

Yes, I meant the name you input when you start the game (and which you have to input when you start the game again to load your saved games). Is there only the one file? For me, it created a duplicate file instead of loading the correct data. I don't know if it that was what helped, but I had a max-length character username which wasn't re-loading properly, but then I started using only a 3-character long name.
I'll try the three-character log-in name next time. Thanks.
