I feel the same way, but I bought it months ago, so I doubt I can get one. It's extremely absurd that Studio MDHR made this game so difficult, even on the easiest skill level, that there's no way anyone could possibly get even a quarter of the way through it unless they have 1000000+ hours worth of experience playing games like this.
Generally, refunds are only intended for technical issues. But if you purchased the game within the last 30 days, you could just try and ask the support nevertheless. From my experience they're quite accommodating.

I don't play boss rush games and haven't played a 2D platformer in a loooong time. I finished this game in around 15 hrs with very little problems with the difficulty. No offense but you're being a big baby. Suck it up and push on. You'll get there.

This is absurdly false. When it takes 3+ hours to get past the very first mission, there is obviously something very, very wrong with the game. I have no problems at all playing Sleeping Dogs with no temporary powerups or GTA V story mode, so the issue clearly is not with my skill level, but rather the skill level of the game. I am very far from the only one who has pointed this out. Calling someone a big baby for pointing out the extremely basic, obvious fact that a game is absurdly difficult shows that you're projecting your own extreme immaturity onto others. It's time to grow up.

When it takes 3+hours there is a problem with YOU not the game. Listen, I have nerve problems and tendinitis in both my hands, I have pretty poor reflexes and I managed to get through the first three levels in fifteen minutes. It is perfectly fine. Hell, even the wife managed to get half way through the last world and she very rarely plays games.

And yet many, many, many, many people have had the same exact trouble I've had, which proves that it's not me, it's THE GAME. Your own personal experience does not somehow negate the experiences of tons of other people. I'm done trying to reason with you. Have a nice life.

Are you playing with a controller? Typically such games encourage you to use a controller instead of the keyboard.

If you wish to beat the game, one of the things you should do is analyze the bosses. All the bosses have patterns. The other is not to rush through the stages, and carefully move through the stage.

Yeah, I'm using a wireless Xbox 360 gamepad. Maybe it's the input lag. I don't know. I have no problem using the gamepad to play GTA V or the keyboard and mouse to play Half-Life 2 on hard difficulty. I'm okay with a game being difficult, but this is noticeably more difficult than Dark Souls, and if you play it on the easiest difficulty, it won't let you progress. That's just flat-out unacceptable, and I'm far from the only person who's had this issue. Polygon described it as "...a comically difficult, if not cruel, experience...".

Try a wired controller or a keyboard. If you're saying it's maybe the input lag, that's probably a hint why things aren't going your way. You'd need to eliminate it to go anywhere.
Mate its a tough game, but these kinda games require a bit of skill and persistence try analyzing patterns and bosses etc. I'm in the final area now in just under a week playing on and off after work YES I've died shitloads but very rewarding once you work it out just give it some more time and try different approaches until you get the result you want.

Folks saying this is too hard obviously never played old Nintendo 8-bit platformers like Ninja Gaiden, some of the early Mega Mans, etc...
You have to analyze and memorize the boss/stage patterns and obstacles. Hell this is easier because you can save your progress.
Yes little tykes, games used to be HARD! It's one of the methods early devs used to justify the cost of a cartridge, more difficulty = more hours played.
I stink at games like this, but wanted it so badly.
Bought it two hours ago, and just finished it.
Yes, I cheated with a trainer, but I had a blast playing it.
Get gid
N/A (nevermind)
