So my peasants refuse to take supplies from warehouses that are a little far. Is there a way to handle that? Also, why can't I set desired stock in a warehouse? I can only set minimal stock.
The game kind of lacks a clear tutorial, yeah.

Did you build sign posts with your scout,so the peasants can take supplies and bring them in houses if you mean that?
You can also assign carriers and change them to merchants and set which supplies they should bring to a certain building that needs supplies.
Think there is only minimal stock in this game but not sure since i only checked it now and also saw that.

Or you can have merchants moving stuff from one warehouse to another. Only the women will walk long distances to get stuff (if they can find it by connected signposts). The male vikings won't interrupt their work for long walks just to get supplies like tools or shoes, fortunately: they already spent time on eating, sleeping, socialising and maybe praying too, and would never get anything done if they would walk to far away warehouses for stuff they don't actually need to do their job.
