The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005)
So wanted to play cultures 1 but i get this error on win xp sp3 though it isn't updated since it takes more space and i don't like that and another reason which i won't tell. It's not long ago i formated my pc.Also used the option to add cultures 1 as exception on DEP.
So i don't know what to do anymore.
Also had some ram problem but i solved that and it seems the ram still works.
Downloaded english and german version tried installing at least 2 times.Tried all compabilities modes i had.
Ah marked the first post of this as question but it didn't go through now it's without it.

This is the only game that has this error from all the games i have installed.

Hatte das selbe Problem.
Konnte es lösen, indem ich die winmm.dll aus dem Ordner entfernt habe.

Try removing the winmm.dll.

Hey thanks it worked, now i can play but i think there is no music in game now because of that file right? Not a big loss though.
I really don't care about the campaing since i beat that years ago on bravo screenfun cd, i am just interested in the single maps, but am currently playing cultures northland campaing.
Also +1

Well for the music problem i found this:
http://www.gog.com/forum/star_wars_xwing_and_tie_fighter_series/new_winmmdll_fix_remastered_edition_on_windows_10

The music plays now but it doesn't change to a second track it only stays on 1 music track and it never ends when the music becomes silent.
