So, contacted GOG support and they pointed me to this post by Thiev, which states the only thing SecuROM-related it creates is an empty registry entry.

Considering this was in reply to IronArcturus (the OP) I'm not sure why this wasn't enough clarification tbh.

If it doesn't stop putting these dummy entries in the registry, you can bet this topic is going to be back again.
