AL lib: (EE) alc_cleanup: 1 device not closed
Im currently away from my ubuntu machine and, since arch isnt officially supported by gog, cant write report. HOWEVER, game launch without issues in virtual machine with ubuntu. And, even weirdest thing - steam version works fine on my arch laptop.
At this point, Im not even sure, what may cause such. Missing dependencies? But which?

Did anybody else get this problem? Or, maybe, have list of libraries, this game require? Im out of ideas, why steam version of this game work fine, but gog's refuse to launch on non-ubuntu machine

I don't experience it, but it seems a known bug with a workaround: https://github.com/mono/mono/issues/6752#issuecomment-365212655

thanks so much, that helped!

By any chance, did you experience weird visual bug when screen on "low resolution" setting (or how was it called...) get green rectanges everywere? With normal sprites, everything is fine (but framerate suck on my hardware)
(After some update on my system, I just experienced your original crash. The link I posted earlier did fix it like for you)

Indeed, in "low detail" mode, the graphics are weird, green everywhere and walls seem to be kind of transparent on another data buffer. See attachments.
