After snatching defeat from the jaws of victory far too many times, I've finally unlocked level 3, and so my eyes are currently bugging out slightly :)

I'm playing on Linux, and it works an absolute treat. I don't believe I've had a single problem with it.

Thank you, Brace Yourself Games. The game is inspired, and you've done a superb job with it. So much fun :)
Yay! I'm so glad you are enjoying it!
Aria Mode. Oh my god, are you kidding me? That's just evil.

You know unlocking Coda requires an all chars run, right? Aria is honestly a cakewalk compared to Dorian without a diamond-store weapon.

I know it does :) I was just casually mentioning it :)
Well, I'm a little disappointed that I'll never get to see the end of the story.

The difficulty jump up to Aria is crazy. I've reached the second level maybe 10 times or so. I almost reached the third level a couple of times, and I'm sure that would have squashed me if I'd made it -- and let's not even think about the boss fight.

I really enjoyed the game prior to this. I still don't dislike playing as Aria, but there's no longer any reward for the effort I'm putting into it. The game just beats me constantly, and I don't have time to dedicate to attempting this over and over and over again with basically no margin for error -- I am kinda wasting my time at this point.

I don't object in the slightest to the game having uber-hard modes for the players with the crazy skills, but it kinda sucks that you locked the end of the story behind them so that lots of people can never finish it.

I got better playing as her and even got the hang of kiling mommies (approach from the north and get a baby stuck to the south of the mommy), and then completely lost the sense of rhythm, so that most of my deaths were to lolrandom missed beats in empty and secured rooms. So I put the game off for a while and will probably try a custom soundtrack when I get back to it.
