i know this has been brought up a few times. but anyone figured out how to get music working? tried having the vlc in the background method that someone said might work, but that didn't work for me.
so i got it working...had to buy the actual game from ebay lol. here is the thing though, the cd game itself didn't work because i'm guessing my computer is too high for it, even after uninstalled the gog version to avoid confusion. so in a way you kinda need both. used the gog version, and then use the game cd for the music. either the game cd won't work to play, or you can play the game without music. so yea, just have both to have full experience
After couple of hours of googling and troubleshooting me and my hubby made it work by doing following:

1) Download the rip of original CD from archive.org (there should be 16 files in the folder - 1 cue file and 15 bin files containing the tracks)

2) Install WinCDEmu which is basically software to mount virtual CDs.

3) Having WinCDEmu enables new option in menu after right-clicking on a folder: Build an ISO image. So, create the ISO image from the folder you downloaded in step 1.

4) Mount ISO image via WinCDEmu and launch the game.

Edit: All these steps are to be completed once you have this game installed normally via GOG installation file. These steps are only for music purpose.
