Quit playing 1/2 an hour into the game with 1 game saved and quick save, but when I restarted the game there are none to be found. I also keep getting asked to run the game in administrator mode even though I have changed the .exe to run in admin mode in the properties.
Have you installed the game outside the Program Files directory?
(Program Files forces some constraints on its content)

EDIT.
Note that the save lies in:
"...\Crusader No Remorse\SAVEGAME"
So if the folder is empty, there isn't much that can be done to recover the save files.

or the virtualstore that matches with that location

wongkev: I also keep getting asked to run the game in administrator mode even though I have changed the .exe to run in admin mode in the properties.
That's because the game is running through DOSBox, not Windows. If there is a way to set the shortcut to the game to run as administrator, or to set dosbox.exe to run as administrator, that might help.

You might also try changing the install directory... if you install outside of Program Files, then running as admin may not be necessary and it also might not mess around with your savegame location. Program Files has extra security so sometimes savegames get sent to the virtualstore, whereas if you install outside of Program Files the saves should not get redirected.
Thanks for the info...
I have reinstalled as recommended and determined that the saves exist in the savegame folders and am able to load from it.
However still get the UAC popup whenever I run the program even though I have set dosbox.exe and the shortcut to run as admin. Not a big problem just a minor annoyance.
Thanks again.
