Or did is stay the same way as on steam where people are still complaining about the bad layout and how in this year a game still doesnt have the basiscs?

Hi! Yesterday we added new keyboard control layouts, including a KBM option, to both the Steam version and the GOG version! Hopefully it goes some way to improving the keyboard experience.
Full rebinding is still WIP, it's been a lot more work than Adam and I thought, but a lot of groundwork has been laid with this new update, so I hope it's not too far off!

Would love t try it again but not till I know what the new options are, if they are something that will work for me or not.

Did you watch my video about Crow Country? In it I talk about the new Mouse and Keyboard controls. At the 1:26 mark you can pause it and see the keymapping for the Mouse profile. I'll link the video below in case you haven't seen it already. I also attached a picture that shows the Classic control scheme as well.
