The GOG version runs in a ~320x240 window, with the game display cropped to just the top-left corner. The window is resizable, but that's no help because the game display resizes with it.

I already had installed and run the Steam version on the same machine, and that never had the issue.

Unfortunately, I'm out of time to investigate this, so anyone else affected could try:
- add a custom resolution in the graphics driver: 1280x768x32bpp (the game's weird default res)
- copy config from Steam version, don't recall where that is ATM

So, it looks to be a bug in how a low system resolution is handled at first launch.
Originally I was on a TV which was set to only 720p. My laptop screen at 1366x768 didn't have the issue.

1. Delete data\config0000.dat
2. Set system resolution to width below 1280 and/or height below 768
3. Launch
And the tiny cropped window will happen. Surely 640x480 would be a more sensible fallback.
We've had a lot of trouble tracking down this bug. One user had success with this workaround, let me know if this helps:

Go to the folder where you installed Crimzon Clover. Locate the CrimzonClover_WI_GOG.exe file, right-click it, select PROPERTIES\COMPATIBILITY and put a checkmark in the box named: 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings'. Click APPLY then OK.

Another possible workaround is entering this key combination:

Press Z (on the keyboard), Down, Z, Z, Down, Right, Down, Down, Z.

This sequence attempts to force the windowed version of CC into full screen, where you can make further adjustments without having to manipulate the menu blindly.

Hopefully one of these solutions helps you. If you're still stuck, let me know.

You must put the desk over 768 pixel height.

Put the Desk in 1440 X 900 for example and all is Ok.

Launch : no more tiny Cropped Window.

Crazy but this key combination really helped me. I am running on WinXP (1280x720) so I could not check the checkbox in com. mode because it simply is not there. You habe to do this only for the first time. After entering the key combination once the game will start normally. However it would be great if this could be fixed in a future patch because this combination could get lost and then I would not be able to start the game again.

Can the game run in a large window around 1280x720? Or does it have to be fullscreen? Also, does it work with an Xbox 360 controller?

I just tried it and switched in the menu back to windows mode and it runs (you can still change the size of the window freely). Don't have a gamepad so I cannot test this.

Edit: Correction. After having changed to window mode the next time I start the game goes back to the cropped tiny window so you would have to force full screen to start the game and then turn off the fullscreen to switch to viewable window. If I find a different way I will post it.

I have a 1600x1200 monitor (TFT) and a second monitor 1280x720 (Projector).
To get this game running on my projector I have to:

- Delete data\config0000.dat
- Say to windows the 1600x1200 is my primary monitor.
- Launch the game. This will start in windowed mode on the TFT.
- Tell the game I want to have fullscreen 1280x720.
- Minimize the game (Alt-Tab) while still in the ingame screen settings menu.
- Tell windows the Projector is my primary monitor.
- Click the game-button on the Task Tray to maximize it again.

Insane, but it works.
Also: This game is awesome. A game about knowing how to use the bomb :-)
