Why don't we take full advantage of the import/export feature? This is the place to spice up your creature gene pool. Upload some Norns of your own and download someone else's.
Note: Only image attachments are allowed by the GOG server so it is necessary to append the regular extension (.exp) with .png or .jpg in order to post. For example; 'norn.exp' would become 'norn.exp.png.'

I'm really tempted already by Creatures 3, but this kind of thing on the forums might tip me over the edge into immediate purchase! Is the community still existing? The wiki looks quite alive.
Never played this when it was first released, but I was just thinking about SimEarth this morning and wondering if there was an evolution-type game out there.
Doesnt docking station have an internet trading feature?

It does. You can even set portals for specific "trading" of creatures with someone else.
There is actually a site dedicated to trading creatures called The Creature Repository, You can download a ton of creatures there and upload your own as well, then post the links here if you like.
Remiko is a nice little creature. She's not actually mine but I thought she was worth sharing :)
Also, the community certainly does still exist! It's pretty active on forums like Creatures Caves and Creaturetopia.

My page on the Creature Repository is here.
A large number of the creatures KaelisRa uploaded for me are available here.
If you're interested in the odd things that the Creatures genetics and engine can throw out take a look at TCR creatures with the strange tag.

The community is quite alive, but very thin. It's sad, I remember the old days of alt.games.creatures! If I even remember that right.. haha
Sharing Creatures is where the community started, then it was COBs, then new genetics, and so on. Amazing how much the user group made the game.
Maybe it's time to bring back the days of wolfling run trading. :D
