Hello. I'm having an issue with the in-game computer in C1. I tried to teach my first Norn all the verbs, but some of the words weren't appearing on the screen - and thus, she wasn't able to learn them. She can't learn the words "look" and (I believe) "stop" because of this, which is something of an inconvenience. I think "look" has now changed from a blank space to a dash, so that's different, but the words are still missing.

Has anybody else had this problem, and if so were you able to fix it?

It sounds like you clicked the button to change the word in the computer, and left it blank. Don't worry: It's not exactly intuitive and is easy to fix! Navigate to the word in the computer using the left/right buttons at the top of the computer. You'll notice an arrow pointing at the screen on the right-hand side of the screen. Clicking this should cause a different noise, and you should then be able to type in a word. Hit the Enter key, and it should stay in the computer and be teachable!

This is a feature to allow you to customize the vocabulary. I recall the manual saying you could teach your Norns to speak in another language. I actually change up "yes" and "no" to "good" and "bad", and also change "sleep" to "rest." It's all personal preference, so if you think you'd rather use a different word for some of the verbs, go for it!

If you have any other questions or need more help, feel free to post away! Hopefully this points you in the right direction, though.
Thank you! I'll give that a shot. :)
