I just bought all the Creatures games. The links to the "official" patches, which were put in that sticky like 7 or 8 years ago, are all dead. Do the GOG versions need these patches? If so, where can I get them?
Also apparently you can't ever really uninstall Creatures (or at least Creatures 1) so you can't ever restart your game if you bollux it up. I found where they talk about Eden.sfx but apparently there is something about COB files also needing to be backed up. I don't know what a COB file is nor where to find it.
What steps do I need to take to make sure I can restart each of these games since uninstalling doesn't work? Is this an issue for all 4 games?
