For some reason when I start up Docking Station the main menu runs at a super low fps which makes clicking on anything a massive pain. Now if I use Alt+Enter to toggle fullscreen it will fix the issue but will make Windows nag me that I need to put it into 16bit color (even though it is set that way in compatibility options).
I would like a solution so that I don't have to toggle fullscreen every time I start it up.

I am using Windows 8.1 and the GOG copy of Creatures Exodus.

Edit: The fps only goes to 1 when there are a transition happening (the Docking Station logo fading out), after that the FPS goes back to normal.

The same thing happens on my pc too, it was always like that, get used to it, never found a way to fix it
