I've been playing creatures 1 and while I was moving an egg, accidentally dropped it underwater between the island and the ruins. It's behind the background or something. How can I get it back?

Well, do you have the debug mode active? Maybe if not, you could try picking up the egg, as otherwise you might need a selector cob of some kind.

No, I don't even know how to go about doing any of that. >.<

n the Albian Years version, in Windows Vista, and Windows 7, the registry entry can be found in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Gameware Development/Creatures/1.0, and edited as in other versions.

By using regedit to change the registry key "Privileges" in the aforementioned from "user" to "doctor", it'll activate several useful features, but disable autosave, and you'll end up in a blank save.
