I just bought Creatures Exodus off GOG after unsuccessfully trying to install my many-years-old copy of Creatures 3 on my new Windows 7 computer and most of it seems to be working beautifully. The only thing I'm having trouble with is the utility Brain in a Vat. When I try to open it I get errors about missing registry entries. I was able to manually create the first one in a way that satisfies Brain in a Vat because there was a similar entry in another location but the second one is stumping me because I can't find a similar entry anywhere. It's requesting "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Cyberlife Technology\DockingStationCatalogue Directory" Anyone else encountered this and found a workaround?

Edit:Nevermind, I managed to get it working.

Hi,

I had the same problem and found the solution. You must open your registry editor Export the Keys under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Gameware Development" to a file. Open this file with notepad and replace "Gameware Development" with "CyberLife Technology". Import the key.
Under "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software" create a key "CyberLife Technology" and a key "Creatures Engine". In this key, create a string "Default Game" with value "Creatures 3"

and it works !
Enjoy
Hi, I'm having huge problems with this. There was/is no HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINES/Software/Gameware Development in my RegEdit. And I've been getting the second error that was mentioned in the original post. Please, I need to get this working, it's part of a research project.
