Now, how do I install the Imperia Mod using the GOG version of cossacks BTW!? Everytime I try it, the mod seems to overwrite Critical Data, which the gog version needs.
Unfortunately there is none. Imperia will always replace somes files from gog's repack of cossacks.

This mode was made using some of the source code of cossacks at the time, hence redoing dmcr.exe and some other critical files.
The guy who made this stopped modding way before gog repack cossacks. Since gsc never gave the source to anyone else (manny people have tried to ask them, in vain) There will never be an update for that version of cossacks

So I will have to install my cd version and do all the batch data thing on my own? crap
i am afraid so
So if the Imperia mod won't work with the GOG version of Cossacks, what versions will it work with? Would it work with the Steam version, or is it ONLY good with the CD version?

I think the steam version will do. But i don't know for sure, since this game needs a workaround in order to work, so that the file that is needed for the workaround to work (usually a batch file) will simply ignore the mod files.

in the cd version you can set up your own batch file and iunclude the mod files. luckily i do have the cd version of back to war here.

Hello guys,what did you did Soccorro? can you helpme please, Bitte
Hi guys,

the Imperia Mod works with the gog Version of the game.

Here is how it works for me:

-install Cossacks BTW gog Version into file path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cossacks - Back To War

-Install Imperia Mod as written in the description attached.

-Install Aqrit's ddwrapper. (copy the .dll & .cfg file into the game root directory)

-Apply following settings to the .cfg from Aqrit's ddwrapper:

RealDDrawPath = AUTO
BltMirror = 0
BltNoTearing = 0
ColorFix = 0
DisableHighDpiScaling = 0
FakeVsync = 0
FakeVsyncInterval = 0
ForceBltNoTearing = 0
ForceDirectDrawEmulation = 1
NoVideoMemory = 1
SingleProcAffinity = 0
ShowFPS = 0

-Start the game with the dmcr.exe located in the game directory.

Btw if you dont have any mouse cursor issues before using Aqrit's ddwrapper, you might even skip that point and not use Aqrit's ddwrapper.

Thank you, that works perfectly under Windows 11!
