Hi

I started playing "Corpse Party: Book of Shadows" today, and I encountered a bug that makes the game unplayable for me. It's a bug that makes the "selection" keep scrolling up and / or down. For example, going into text history makes the game keep scrolling up or down on its own. Main menu keeps scrolling up and down, and other places as well. It also makes the "point and click" parts of the game unplayable as the cursor keeps moving down on its own. The bug also affects choices (but not the main text aside from text history) in the visual novel part of the game. I don't know if it gives any clues somehow, but strangely, the bug does not happen in "PC settings" inside options. I don't play with a controller.

Anyone know a fix?

FIXED!

After spending a very long time thinking and looking up potential solutions, I finally found a surprisingly simple solution. If anyone is facing the same problem as I did, this is what I did:

"VJoy Virtual Joystick" in Device Manager is to blame. What fixed the issue for me was disabling it in "Device Manager" in Windows 10. No more automatic scrolling up / down bug after that (unless I enable it again). It fixed the same issue for Corpse Party for as well (but oddly enough, opening VJoy, the program outside device management, also fixed it, so for the original Corpse Party you need to disable it in "Device Manager" or enable the program. Weird).

TL:DR: disable VJoy Virtual Joystick in Device Manager.
