Neat new patch stuff, but the inherent design of the game still makes it an unfun time vampire. I received this game for free years and years and years ago, but I can only play 3-4hrs of it at a time because the game seems to actively punish me for playing it.

I'm not playing a game, I feel like I'm trapped into doing whatever the developers want players to do; it's not fun, it's just a tech demo script that I'm forced to follow.

Sure, the 1.30 stuff makes it look nicer....but it's not going to stop me from remembering how awful a game this actually is.

And don't get me started with the convoluted "plot"...

What is anybody forcing you to do in this game, apart following the story and playing the game AS EVERY OTHER GAME ON THE PLANET?

That seems like a long play session anyway. Sounds like the game is doing you a favour by helping you not to play for excessively long periods. You might even want to find a game that you can only play for 1-2 hours.

Or maybe narrative games just aren't for you.

Looks like you only like open-world games.

What you are describing in bold is basically what every other single game on the planet is like aside from the open world and even then in those games there are specific things developers want players to do.

What a weird complaint.

So don't play it? Maybe just...play the things that you like and let others play what they like, and otherwise go about your business?

I miss the days when it was just assumed that nobody else gave two craps about things you (a) don't like and (b) are totally free to avoid without consequence. Would you also like to tell us your feelings about boiled Brussels sprouts, or staring directly at the sun?
