Interesting, but I hope the characters won't look like those on the box art. I really liked the goofy cartoony characters of the original. It just wouldn't be constructor without them

First, Constuctor removed from GOG. And now this??? Maybe these things are related somehow? How abunt striking a deal with new owner of the rights and bringing both old and new Constructor to GOG?

i am hoping they removed it for the same reason maybe release the hd version and pack in the old one for free with it.

Assuming that Constructor will come back to GOG, this is very likely. Constructor HD launch promo with the original for free (if you already have the original, you get a code). After that promo both games would need to be purchases separatedly.

11/10 would buy on launch!

I just pee'd my pants a little. I have loved this game like no other for DECADES, and have dreamed of a remastered release... I hope they tweak it clear out the grind and add more of the fun!

EDIT: In reading up online... it sounds a bit suss. Not much information at all.

I just hope they use the HD-release to make some gamplay/interface/automation improvements as well...

Is there any news about the remake? Game lists it as coming 31/08/2015 - Thats the only knews i could find.

We can hope so, that game needs some serious bug fixes.......
