Got the game and remembered just what I loved about it in the past, but also how darn hard it is.

Any way to get the old cheats to work for the game? I've tried them the old way but it doesn't work

I LOVED the game before, but I will admit, I was bad and did cheat once or twice. Usually after I finished the level to being with, and just replayed it. BUT, I would love to know how the cheat codes work for GOG games.

My buying the game pretty much rests on whether or not you can cheat. It's a terribly unforgiving game, no matter how fun or humorous it may be.

Also, considering the game is cheating its ass off, there is absolutely no shame in doing so in return.

You can "cheat". Look on the "Tips for Constructor" thread for details. Basically you can hold the enemy up for a decided amount fo time.

Yes, I was browsing that for a bit about the time you suggested it. I decided to make the jump and get it and a couple others in the group (not Mob Rule, though). Even if I find the game difficult, it seems as though I'll still enjoy it. Thanks for the suggestion and the thread was quite helpful, too.

I was able to get the normal cheats to work. And if you use Boxer.app (for Mac) I have a Python AppleScript that will enter them for you. I'm lazy and I cheat, bad combo? This game was a blast and still iz.

The cheats work fine for me, tenants127, cadets552 etc..

are those cheats for constructor 1 or mob rule ? as far as i know no cheats work on mob rule

I've tried the cheats that the poster linked to and I can't get any of them working. I don't even heard the sound that the link says should happen when a cheat is entered.

Guys

Go to "New Game" Start game or something like this.
and do the cheat, but...

You need to press enter on the end of the cheat

like this:

cadets552 (press enter)
game will play some sound
tenants127 (press enter)
game will play some sound

Each time it will play a sound, to make sure that the cheats were correctly entered.

Does this work with an azerty keyboard?
