I actually own the original version of Conquest of the New World Deluxe, and as wondering if someone would want to try playing it online through DOSBox's IPX emulation. It allows games to think its going through LAN while its actually going over the Internets.
This question / problem has been solved by Firekimage
I was unable to get multiplayer working when I tried. :(
I would really like to be able to play this multiplayer, so if anyone has a step-by-step guide, or is willing to help me work through it, I'd be very excited to try. :D
I have added a support article about this, I hope it will help. You can find it here:
Multiplayer - IPX emulation for DOS games .

I am trying to get a CNW multiplayer game to work between two computers running vista. I followed the intstructions posted by Firek and all that worked but I cant get the client to read the host game. The firewall has already been told to unblock for both pc's. Is there any more information that would help me get the host and client to read each other. We are connected via lan and the client is able to load my ip as host but once we start a game the client just can't find my host pc.
i am interested in playing cnw online let me know if there is a way

Hey, the link no longer works, could you post the content again somewhere, if you're still around?
