Feel a bit annoyed, was looking forward to playing this game, you would think they would have looked into this.
Now I have a worthless purchase.

AVOID if you have WIndows 8

We did look into this. That's why Windows 8 is not listed as a supported OS on the gamecard for this game.

I find it funny how older games that are not dos games work fine, like wing commander IV, while a newer game, which technically should work.....doesn't work at all.

I bought this last year when I had a Win 7 machine. Pity I don't have it anymore and it's a pity I can't get a refund. Oh well, GOG has been a cool company and virtually everything else I've bought works perfectly on Win 8. That said, I really wish this game could be made to work on Win 8. Curse you Microshaft!!!
