Hi,

I just started BEL but I'm having a problem. Before the first mission I got a FMV with sound, the briefing was read to me before the mission and on the map I was given the "ingame" briefing.

However, for the latter missions this doesn't happen. The text briefing isn't read and I have to ESC to skip, and once I'm on the map the game is in "pause" for the real briefing, but this doesn't start either. ESC is the only way to start the mission, but with no briefing :(

Tried restarting the mission, tried loading the previous one and restart it that wy, tried with the password. Nothing works.

I have exactly the same problem!

Try running it in Windows 95 compatibility mode. (You may also want to check the disable themes thingy, and run as administrator, but the Win95 compatibility should fix it). IIRC, you'll have to re-set the in game options though.
