I did and I downloaded the patch and installed it, but then don't I need something else because the patch didn't show any difference.

Did you forget to select 800x600?

I got it working. I looks sharper but it's not filling the whole screen. And yes I have it at 800x600.

I still have a monitor with a resolution of 1280x1024.

Can you take a picture? I'm not sure that a screenshot would be of any use.

Okay. That's a very big border. Maybe there is a bigger used screen area on different missions.

SHIT! I never thought of that! The borders do vary from mission to mission.
