How do I play with the custom map I created with the map editor? www.colonizationfans.com says you just need to create the map with the mapeditor and then start the game IN AMERICA. You should get a second menu to choose from the other available maps.

A bit late, but maybe my answer helps others: It looks like this "second menu" was included with v.3.0. The german version is still at v.2.26 and therefore does not include this menu.
