when trying to start Panzers phase 2, we get a fatal error, the message reading "SGepard::ResetDevice: Reset failed: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL". up to now the game always ran without trouble. Has anybody had similar problems an has any idea how to solve it?

I'm getting the same error message.

I found the solution in a different post. You have to edit the options.ini file in the installation directory. Set the resolution to whatever you want, and delete the refresh rate setting, so that value is blank. It will default to a known system setting, and should work from there.
