Clunky Hero - Known Issues
As you should already know, this is an Early Access version of Clunky Hero.
So it might have some glitches here and there.
We are truly sorry for them, and we'll fix them as soon as possible, within our next patches.

I'm now listing the major ones and how to solve them.

KNOWN ISSUES v0.91 (this is now outdated on GOG - see below for a fresh list)

- Wrong Input Mapping
Clunky Hero controller mapping is set for being used with an XBox controller and similar (like Logitech F310 for instance).
Is it possible to use other kind of controllers, but the mapping might be wrong.
You could try with Steam settings to set it as an XBox controller even if it's not.
And if you are using a PS4 controller, your best bet is to use this third party app:
https://ryochan7.github.io/ds4windows-site/ It's very light and allow you to use your PS4 controller as an XBox one.
We tried ourselves with our PS4 controller and everything works perfectly if used together with DS4windows.
We know this is a bit bothering, and we are working to fix the wrong controller mapping within our next patch, to be released in December.

- Can't reach a Platform
Please consider this is a platformer metroidvania, so there are areas and items that you cannot reach until you unlock
a specific skill (like Double Jump or Dash). It's part of the game genre to allow further exploration only after you gain
some skills/abilities. However, if you think you should reach a platform no matter the skills, then please verify that
you are running Clunky Hero at least at 30FPS (even better 60FPS): this value is shown on the bottom-left corner
of the game. The physics of the jumps in Clunky Hero rely on FPS, so if you are lower than 30fps you might jump
too little. To run the game flawless, we suggest to lower your screen resolution or graphic quality, until you can run
the game at least at 30fps.

- Shops Not Selling
It could happen occasionally that you buy an item, have enough money, but the item is not transferred to your inventory.
To solve this, simply close the shop UI and reopen it again. This will allow you to buy the item(s).

- Dialogue Line Flashing
It could happen occasionally (mostly at start of a conversation), that a dialogue line is flashing out for a frame.
This doesn't compromise the gameplay, but we'll fix it asap.

- Player is Stuck
Sometime, for apparent no reasons, the player might be unable to jump or to move.
Try to fall off a ledge or to jump and attack at the same time, or move the directional stick all around
while pressing jump and/or attack. This will eventually unstuck your player.

- Main Menu lose Progress
Remember that when you go to the Main Menu you will lose progress. Meaning that if you click "Continue"
you will continue from the last Saved File, not from when you went to the Main Menu.
This is to avoid "fake saving" while calling the Main Menu (which is a different scene).
We'll put a WARNING message on our next patch, but please bare this in mind!

- Camera Shifting Up/Down
Sometime the camera shifts like if you were looking up or down and get stuck letting your player to
the upper/lower side of the screen. Simply move up or down to look up or down to restore it.
