BTF and Russian Front are not Alt-Tab friendly at all. When I Alt-Tab back in and click any button, it says "action not supported" and then crashes to the desktop. I'm using Windows 10. Does anyone have a possible solution or fix?

Kind of selfish games, demanding all my attention. People do other things too! I still have the original copy of BTF, which I tried running on Windows XP using VirtualBox, and it doesn't do this when I Alt-Tab.

Don't have a solution I'm afraid but I just bought the game and have the same problem, also on Windows 10.
You are not alone
Raised this with support and they acknowledged the problem but when I asked for a refund I got this reply:

'The 30 Day Money Back Guarantee covers cases where the issues is gamebreaking. Not being able to Alt-Tab is not considered as one, so you are not eligible for a refund.'

Pretty disappointed with GOG over this.

Keep playing for a little while. My randomly shoots me to my desktop and then when I try to switch back to the game it crashes. I'd define that as game breaking.
You can fix this by starting the game through Dxwnd. See this forum post for instructions: http://www.closecombatseries.net/CCS/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=90392#90392
