I was wondering how you guys assault positions (houses etc.) in CC2. Specifically in game input rather than tactics, I get the whole "suppress then smoke and flank in" but I'm not sure what actual command to use. Like are you supposed to tell the assaulting squad to "move fast" into the building/on the enemy unit? Or do you tell them to regular move or is it like move fast then when you see the enemy in the building you give them a manual fire order? I've tried all of them with mixed results for each, sometimes the move fast does it other times they get grenades and lose half the squad as they approach the building.

Similar question regarding ambushes because I've had mixed results as well, do you just keep them on hide and let them do their own thing? I normally manually tell my mgs to fire or if a squad has the green cross-hair otherwise I just keep them on hide and switch to defense once the grenades start flying.

Again I understand the tactics just uncertain on which order/input to give them.

I find that it is best to keep the enemy suppressed with a medium or light MG team like Vickers or Bren while sneaking a rifle or scout team in close. Then, with the MG still firing, fast move into the building. It is normal to get mixed results; close combat is incredibly deadly.
