Hey all, trying to open CC5 from the launcher won't launch the game at all (except for the spinning blue disc next to my cursor, then nothing). No CTD (as far I am concerned). I have tried:
- Verifying/Repairing the game.
- Running as Admin
- Changing capability mode to Win 7, Vista SP3, and Win 98.
- Turning off Cloud Sync
- Checking the forums for solutions.
All yield the same results/no changes in program behaviour at all.

My desktop system is:
- i7-7700
- GTX 1070
- 16 GB RAM
- Win 10 with Creator's Update (basically the latest Win 10 patches).

As far as i know, you can only start it with windowed mode and even then you will get problems, it was something about outdated protocols.

You can try to find something usefull here

but the Site is less about the technical side of the game.

There was a Fansite dedicated to the technical side with commpatches, workarounds and stuff like this but i can't find them anymore :(.

I purchased this today and it says Application Error and wont run.

oddly, I bought CC4 and runs perfectly
