I personally prefer quicksaving and I do that a lot apart from the moments that show some majesty like seeing the time portal in the old monastery, the great speech of Bethany before the encounter statrts in eternal Autmn etc...

However when a day I entered the pirate Cove from the Lighthouse, I quicksaved again, nothing was wrong as usual and I died at the moment of the dynamite explosion where the ground collapse upon you.

I quickloaded and quicksaved just before I shot at the dynamite box, I died again and quickloaded. You know what? It started from the spot I first quicksaved at the entrance of the Cove

Then I loaded some other saves and encountered the same stuff. All my loads led me to the entrance of the Cove! they were gone!

has any1 else seen such a thing?

Everything was ok on the first playthrough. On the second day every save i made led me to a different location, a lot earlier in the game. No matter if it was normal save or quicksave. A lot of progress lost. Now every new save too, load the same location on the same time.

Edit: I fixed it by deleting the files in the "save" folder, but outside subfolders. Next i launched the game loaded the save i wanted(this time it loaded ok), while running the game i deleted all save files(without it quicksave didnt work, only the manual save did). Then i saved the game. Now everyting works ok.
If anybody wants to try it then make a copy of your save files.

Hi friend! Every year at least once I play with Undying, but this save problem is new to me. My save shows Oneiros, but when I load it throws back into the Library when Aaron reads a book... WHY??? Not the save, not even the qicksave doesn't work...

i just tried to play this game and had the same problem - i tried the fix suggested by Wolfnir and it worked once, but you seem to have to keep repeating it.

i've played the game before and rather than put up with this i just gave up and played somethign else, but this does seem to be a serious issue which needs fixing

I might be able to fix it if you tell me how to reproduce it step by step. Instructions by deadolous are not clear.
