It seems like the console codes aren't working in the GoG version of Undying. I press the tab key, the console appears, I type in the code, e.g. "Satan" to get infinite health (don't judge me!), hit enter, but the code doesn't take effect. Is there a config file I need to tweak to enable the cheat console?

I'm enjoying the game quite a bit but my reflexes aren't what they used to be. I just want to cheat enough to get through the sections where monsters stream almost endlessly. My game time isn't unlimited anymore alas...

Hey,

Don't know if you got it working or not but, after dying about 50 times in the same spot, I also enabled the cheat mode for health so I could at least get thru that spot (dismantled it afterwards :)

Did you try this one?

set(SPACE) aeons.patrick(SPACE) health(SPACE) 999

That gives Patrick 999 health, which is plenty to get you thru ANYTHING :)

Tried these on my retail copy and 'satan' didn't seem to have an effect. Typing 'eh' toggles god mode but disables itself after every level load.

There are some fairly good lists of commands at the below links, many of these are useful if you intend to do any modding with the game as well:

Thanks for the tip. For some reason that code works. I've been able to get past the blocking section--this game really loves throwing streams of baddies at you--and am making progress again.

Sorry, I forgot to post back here :)

I did use the original cheat I gave you but realized quickly it made the monsters not attack, which was a bit annoying. So I went to the God Mode (type in 'eh') instead when I got stuck.

Like Amran says, God Mode does disable itself after every LOADING screen, so you have to keep re-keying it in, but well worth it if you get stuck. I've had to use it about 4 times as there were some areas I'd still be sitting there at if I hadn't, and I'm only playing it on 'Medium' difficulty. Next time I think I'm going to have to play 'Easy' :)
Simple "Eh" works good enough to take me through any terribly hard areas ; )

Doh, you're right. The baddies aren't seeing me till I shoot them. Thought I was just being super stealthy. I'll try the 'eh' code next...
