Is there mod support for the GOG version? The Steam version has some workshop mods that change company console names and I'd like to use it here.

Hey jdurand,

You're right there is a mod support on the Steam version. City Game Studio relies on the Steam Workshop to support mods.
It's using it to validate mods, update mods and create mods. Sadly, the GOG SDK doesn't support mods yet.

If there are enough player for this functionnality on GOG, I'm willing to implement a raw mod support, but I don't know where you can share them since there is ano website in place for such thing.

Cheers

We can use a Steam Workshop downloader tool to get our mods!

Thanks for the idea, I'll look into this but likely just continue to use my Steam copy for when I want to use mods.

Do you have a suggestion on a save/easy workshop downloader to use?

Regards,

I think mod maker can upload the mods at nexus mods. Or people can just ask modder to provide copy on cloud platform

There is another modding platform (mod io) from moddb guys, but the user experience kind of sucks. The only advantage is it cross-platform (e.g some space engineer mods can be installed on Xbox one). But I guess you won't implement two modding platforms in different storefronts since it would be might be confusing for users.
