When I was younger, I played this game with my father alongside Sanitarium, Myst, and other classics my dad was interested in at the time. I can remember that at first the game was difficult, and when I learned it the game became a standout title in my mind. It was one of the most complex and entertaining things I had ever played at that point. Before, I had simple games like Mario, Zelda, and Star Fox, still fun classics, but different after Chessmaster 9000. I could think more clearly, and I understood everything on the screen, unlike before. This game really influenced me as a gamer(as a person), and I'm going to buy this game on GoG soon.
I won't recommend this game just for the positive effect it had on me, though. It really *is* fun! Why else would I buy it again, ah? The AI is great, the tutuorial really works well, and the game feels very satisfying overall. I highly recommend this to any gamer who's into puzzle or strategy games, and to any chess enthusiast.
