Before I buy this game I really want to know if there is anyway to play this 1 on 1 with my friend that I recently convinced to join GOG. I will play in my own network, so blocked ports are not a problem.
If this game doesn't have this capability could someone indicate me a game, preferably freeware, that can be played like this? I searched for ages, but only found shareware.

I haven't tried this, yet, but if nothing else, Yahoo Games or Pogo.com have chess tables you can use for free.
