It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Sorry people - I'm a complete newbie - right click and run as administrator solved it! red-faced or what!

The file integrity check runs OK. The program installs without a hitch. Then when I try to run it I get:

A fatal error occured loading the Mentor Opening Book. The program will now terminate

The prog list I chose from say that it is compatible with W7 32 & 64 bit

What can I do?

Are you installing to a "short" directory? Several games have issues with installing to the "program files" directories in W7. Try C:\Games\C9K\

EDIT: Wow, this is an old question. Maybe it will help someone else.

I had same problem. Ensuring the game runs as administrator did solve the issue.
