So I just got myself stuck in some rubble, alt+f4'd out of the game and immediately restarded it wanting to just pick up from my last save. Hit enter a few times to skip the intro, and thanks to the single save slot, the uncharacteristically quick responsiveness of the menu, and the fact that unlike every other game I've ever played Chernobylite pre-selects New game rather than Continue as default in the main menu the game erased all of my progress and I now have to start from the intro. I've enjoyed the game thus far but that is NOT cool and frankly rather off-putting.

I'd suggest either allowing multiple save slots or at least multiple "character" slots each of which use one save slot, or at the very least make it so that when you boot up the game it pre-selects Continue rather than New game as that makes a whole lot more sense for anyone who isn't planning on marathon'ing the game in one sitting. It's even on top of the menu list.

Edit: I see the Continue option is now highlighted as default when booting up the game which prevents this from happening. Cheers!
