The upadate to version 1.9 on Steam last friday makes it impossible for me to play multiplayer against my friends that own the game on Steam. I'm getting constant crashes. Pleasy upload the patch to GOG in the foreseeable future.

has the update not already arrived on GOG? I was talking to a GOG player "electropope", and I thought they'd said it was working now post-update; or did I misunderstand?

I checked just now. Still version 1.8, still getting "Invalid handler for RPC Interface IChatEventHandler" when I click on the multiplayer button in the main menu. I made a screenshot and attached the file to this post.

On the official forums a Blue just suggests to upgrade to 1.9. Which I gladly would. If I could. Because 1.9 isn't available for GOG customers.

Ah, that was me :$.
As I said, I was talking to a GOG customer yesterday and they'd left me with the impression that they had already upgraded and it had fixed the problem for them. Obviously, I was mistaken: sorry.
I've asked the developer if there is an ETA for 1.9 on GOG.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll boot it up as soon as I get home.

Had to install the patch manually, GOG Galaxy wouldn't do it automatically. Otherwise it works like a charm now.
