Greetings.

I'm running the latest version of Chaos Overlords provided by GOG.
At combat screens, after combat ends, the game will always emit a beep that sounds exactly like a pop-up warning from windows. In most cases, the game will then resume. However, from time to time (I'd say 1 out of 20), the game freezes right after the beeping sound.

I've tried alt-tabbing to see if there's indeed an errror message but found nothing. Any clues as to why this is happening?

I get the beep as well, but no crashes. Possibly the crash and the beep are unrelated bugs?

I get a beep after detailed combat reports too. No problems with crashes though.

This sounds similar to the error I mentioned in another thread. I will post it here as well, maybe someone has an idea as to what might be causing this.

New patch fixed the flag issues for me! Although, there is one outstanding glitch that I seem to encounter and it involves using detailed combat. Whenever I have detailed combat turned on and a battle occurs, it freezes the game completely and I am forced to use simple combat. Not game breaking, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and may have a solution. :)

I get the beep to..but i have no problems with crashes...the games runs without problems.
