anyone else experiencing hangs when going into the pause menu (escape). It only started happening during the act where you have ceville and lilly together.
The game's music still plays and you can move the cursor around but you can't exit back to the game or hit any of the menu buttons
Have to CTR + ALT + DEL and end task to close it, and you lose any progress you made since the last time you saved, very annoying.

Not exactly that. I experienced crashes to desktop while loading screens are still going on...

This game DID have some bugs at launch, and some rough edges, so Im not terribly surprised by this. But I thought that by now the problems should ve been worked out, specially if the gog team had their hands on it...

Make sure no other programs are running in the background such as anti-virus or social media etc.
